Website with beautiful architecture photos of Amsterdam
Here are some photos from what is opposite tourist attractions, famous buildings and landmarks in Amsterdam. So photos that I took with my back to the sights:
The third house from the left is the house where Anne Frank lived. The fourth house and the building belong to the museum.
Opposite the Anne Frank House: the Prinsengracht and the Bloemgracht
At the left the Old Church tower, at the end of the street Madame Tussaud on the Dam square
Opposite the Beurs van Berlage (northeast direction): the backside of houses that are situated on the Warmoesstraat and the Damrak. At the left the Central Station.
Rembrandt sketched here. The windmill is moved to this place from the western part of Amsterdam
Opposite the statue the Amstel river, a few miles south of the city
The Frank family lived here (at the right, third floor) from December 1933 to July 1942. In the background the first "skyscraper" of Amsterdam (1929-1931).
Opposite the residence: a part of the Waalstraat and the Merwedeplein. The neighbourhood is build by the famous architect Berlage.
The former city hall
In the background the National Memorial Statue, raised in honor of the Dutch victims in the World War II
The court was founded in the 14th century.
At the left the English Church
The most famous church and tower of Amsterdam, situated between the canals the Keizersgracht and the Prinsengracht, next to the Anne Frank House
Opposite the church: the Keizersgracht. In front a part of the first European gay monument.
